A long time ago, there was a beautiful town set in the midst of lush forests, farmland, and meadows. The people felt safe there because the original inhabitants had surrounded the area with a very strong stone wall.
Year after year, the townspeople went about their business and slowly improved on the original design until even the poorest of their citizens had more money and opportunity than poor people in other towns. Through storms and tempests, the stone wall stood firm, and a legend began to grow that the wall could never be broken.
More years passed, and the legend became a certainty within the minds of the citizens. The wall would never, could never be breeched, wrecked, or torn apart. As long as the people could see the wall was still standing, they knew all was well.
But people in nearby towns had heard about the wall. They also heard how safe and secure the inhabitants behind that wall were, how much food they had, and that everyone who wanted to go to school could do so. The citizens of the nearby towns became jealous and banded together to devise some method of bringing that stone wall down, but each effort was met with failure. The wall still stood firm.
Still more years went by, and the townspeople began to neglect the wall. Weeds were not removed and debris began to pile against it. One day, a jealous person from a neighboring town decided to start burning up the unsightly trash. The fire popped and sizzled, flames reaching ever higher until… “PING!” and part of the wall crumbled from the heat.
“A-ha!” he thought. “Now I know how to bring that wall down!”
Quickly the jealous person ran and told his town council. They in turn told the other town councils.
“At last! We can finally destroy that wall and take everything those greedy townspeople own!”
People from many other towns came and built fires all around the wall, and slowly the wall began to crumble. People picked up tools and started to hammer away at the wall until one-by-one, they could finally wriggle through small openings.
They were amazed by what had become of the once-protected town. Homes and buildings that had at one time been bright and shiny were now worn and dilapidated. The townsfolk were bent and grey where before they had been youthful and vibrant. Farmland was barren. The trees from the forest had been cut down, and no one played in the meadows anymore. The townspeople looked up and saw the invaders, but they just turned away as if they hadn’t noticed.
A strong intruder approached an old man and pulled him to his feet. “What has happened to your town?” he demanded.
The old man shrugged and said, “We quit caring. We stopped looking after the wall. Our politicians became corrupt and convinced the people that they didn’t have to work anymore. Now everything is broken and no one remembers how to fix things.”
The intruder threw the old man roughly to the ground in disgust, drew his sword, and fatally stabbed the old man.
“Thank you” the old man whispered just before dying.
I didn’t promise you a *nice* bedtime story, and actually, it’s time to wake up:

Once upon a time, I believed that the RNC Elite possessed some vestigial shreds of patriotism.
I was wrong.
What has become painfully obvious, especially over these last few weeks, is that those of us who still believe in America and her importance are actively being deceived by the creators of the greatest political Ponzi scheme ever conceived. Specifically – that a Massachusetts liberal, whose healthcare scheme was the blueprint for Obamacare, would lead us away from the brink of total government-mandated control over every aspect of our lives.
This is not the plan.
Both the RNC and DNC believe that our rights as individual citizens have been successfully overcome via legislation, judicial activism, and out-of-control regulatory agencies. This election is therefore not about freedom, liberty, jobs, the economy, national defense, or any of those very quaint ideas. Not for a moment. This election is very simply about which side will own us.
Mitt Romney handily represents the Corporate Oligarchy. Obama remains the Socialist-in-Chief. Either choice is a literal disaster, not just for America, but for every freedom-loving person on the planet.
Our only option is a Brokered Convention, where the delegates (most of whom are freedom-loving Americans) can exercise their rights under the existing RNC Rule #38 to choose an appropriate nominee to run against Obama.
Dr. Gingrich has been unwavering in his support of America. He knows the Constitution, our rich history, current events, and many world leaders. Dr. Gingrich would not require months to become accustomed to the job – he’s seen and done DC before. More than ever, we need a skilled and dedicated person to lead us through these frightening times. Most of all, we need an American fighting for America, and not Corporatism or Socialism.
Delegates, it’s up to you.
Fight the Ponzi scheme. Choose wisely. Choose Newt for America!
This is just a small sampling of what’s out there, folks…and a John McCain redux in the making.

Mitt, we applaud the enormous amounts of money you have spent to secure the nomination, but facts are facts. The American public just isn’t that into you! If you were any kind of a patriot, you would be happy to step down now and let our delegates choose someone else to defeat Obama. But you aren’t, and you won’t.
Delegates! It’s up to you now to save America!
A troubling report has recently surfaced that Russia is considering the establishment of a naval base in Cuba .
Excuse me, but isn’t history repeating itself?
In October of 1962, President Kennedy quarantined Cuba to prevent the completion of a Soviet nuclear facility. Dubbed the “Cuban Missile Crisis”, the world teetered on the brink of nuclear war while Kennedy and Khrushchev hammered out an agreement to remove the base from Cuba .
In stark contrast to the current Occupy DC regime, President Kennedy was interested in protecting America and Americans. Although called a traitor by many at the time, Kennedy’s decision to confer with Khrushchev allowed Baby Boomers time to grow up and have children of their own.
Fast-forward to today. Obama has been caught making the following remarks to Medvedev:
President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.
President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…
President Obama: (reaching over and putting his hand on Mr. Medvedev’s knee): This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.
President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.
With this exchange, Obama gave away America.
Russia already has a presence in Syria, but Putin is moving his chess pieces and looking to establish bases in not only Cuba, but also Viet Nam and Seychelles . From these locations, Putin would be able to exert direct influence over most of Africa, SE Asia, a good portion of China, plus the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Russia holds over $110 billion of our debt , and Putin wants to hear from Obama how he plans to handle the financial crisis . Unfortunately, Obama’s plan to deal with our economic difficulties is to continue borrowing and spending.
Occupy DC’s agenda is the enslavement of Americans. The only substantive decision Obama has to make at this point is who our new Masters will be – China or Russia.
We can stop this, but it will take courage and determination. It will require our delegates at the Republican National Convention to say in a very loud and clear unified voice that the American people will no longer tolerate “business as usual”. This includes a pre-determined presumptive nominee who is in bed with many of the same international money-makers who welcome our enslavement.
I encourage you to watch the video below. Dr. Gingrich spoke in 2008 on effective ways to handle Putin and Russia, and obviously has given this problem considerable thought. Based on Dr. Gingrich’s command of history and international politics, I strongly urge our delegates to consider his nomination via a brokered convention.
“Domestic policy can only defeat us; foreign policy can kill us.” – John F. Kennedy
“This ruling could go down as a major mistake by Roberts or as an extraordinarily clever move and we won’t know for a long time which it is. He clearly has upheld the law, which must make Obama and his supporters happy, but on the other hand, he’s upheld the law on the worst possible grounds for them .”
Once more, Dr. Gingrich’s political acumen is obvious.
Justice Roberts labeled the Obamacare monstrosity a “tax”, thus forever associating higher unemployment, and more widespread poverty with The Left in a blatant refutation of their highly-touted claim to care deeply about the American Public.
This could not have come at a better time for America and her Constitution-Loving citizens.
We have two months remaining before the Republican National Convention in Tampa. This is time enough to convince our delegates to invoke RNC Rule #38 and vote their conscience instead of merely accepting the GOP’s Obama-lite, Mitt Romney.
In case anyone needs reminding about the failures of Romneycare, read the 2010 evaluation by then Massachusetts State Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill:
“The universal insurance coverage we adopted in 2006 was projected to cost taxpayers $88 million a year. However, since this program was adopted in 2006, our health-care costs have in total exceeded $4 billion. The cost of Massachusetts’ plan has blown a hole in the Commonwealth’s budget…The only reason MassCare has survived is that we have been repeatedly bailed out by the federal government .”
In addition, Romney used his trademark good-old-boy network to help him get the mandate passed:
The American Prospect’s Robert Kuttner observed:
“In Massachusetts, Romney needed and got buy-in from the powerful hospital, insurance, and corporate lobbies. To win that support, he could not fundamentally change the way they did business. Instead, private insurance companies got more customers thanks to the individual mandate, hospitals kept their beds full, and corporations that failed to insure employees paid only a token penalty of $295 per worker .”
Romney did what he does best. What he always does. What he will do if elected POTUS: Pander to big-business and make the little guy (that’s us) pay through the nose.
Romneycare – Obamacare, Obamacare – Romneycare. Does it really make any difference? Both will guarantee higher taxes, higher unemployment, and lower standards of living and medical care. We cannot afford to have either of these individuals as POTUS.
But we have time enough to make a difference and nominate a true Conservative at our Convention in Tampa. Who better to fill those shoes than the one man who said,
“Two hours after I’m sworn in as President and by the time the Obama’s land in Chicago, I will have 40% of Obama’s Government Dismantled ”, including Obamacare.
Republican delegates, it’s up to you to save America from disaster. It is up to you to invoke RNC Rule #38 and vote as unbound citizens. It is up to you to help Newt Gingrich save us from ourselves.
Poor Michelle Antoinette was caught on video at the 9/11 Anniversary in 2011 saying, “All this for a damn flag”, and it caused quite a stir…as well it should.
Michelle would perhaps profit from reading a few of the following quotes, presented in no particular order, to comprehend a little of what this “damn flag” means to normal American citizens. Or maybe not. In any case they are presented for you, Dear Reader, because you are smarter than Michelle anyway. Enjoy!
If anyone, then, asks me the meaning of our flag, I say to him – it means just what Concord and Lexington meant; what Bunker Hill meant; which was, in short, the rising up of a valiant young people against an old tyranny to establish the most momentous doctrine that the world had ever known – the right of men to their own selves and to their liberties. – Henry Ward Beecher
That piece of red, white and blue bunting means five thousand years of struggle upwards. It is the full-grown flower of ages of fighting for liberty. It is the century plant of human hope in bloom. – Alvin Owsley
The flag of the United States has not been created by rhetorical sentences in declarations of independence and in bills of rights. It has been created by the experience of a great people, and nothing is written upon it that has not been written by their life. It is the embodiment, not of a sentiment, but of a history. – Woodrow Wilson
As long as I live, I will never forget that day 21 years ago when I raised my hand and took the oath of citizenship. Do you know how proud I was? I was so proud that I walked around with an American flag around my shoulders all day long. – Arnold Schwarzenegger
Behold a republic standing erect while empires all around are bowed beneath the weight of their own armaments – a republic whose flag is loved while other flags are only feared. – William Jennings Bryan
I believe our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty, and freedom. It is the history of our nation, and it’s marked by the blood of those who died defending it. – John Thune
I have loved but one flag and I can not share that devotion and give affection to the mongrel banner invented for the League of Nations. – Henry Cabot Lodge
Let it be borne on the flag under which we rally in every exigency, that we have one country, one constitution, one destiny. – Daniel Webster
Martin Luther King, Jr. didn’t carry just a piece of cloth to symbolize his belief in racial equality; he carried the American flag. – Adrian Cronauer
Our flag honors those who have fought to protect it, and is a reminder of the sacrifice of our nation’s founders and heroes. As the ultimate icon of America’s storied history, the Stars and Stripes represents the very best of this nation. – Joe Barton
The American flag is the most recognized symbol of freedom and democracy in the world. – Virginia Foxx
This blogger is 100% for Newt. It is more than painfully obvious with each new revelation of the current administration’s treachery and deliberate mismanagement that Newt is exactly what we need right now to restore America and preserve our beloved Constitution.
What has been bugging me most about this entire nomination process is how the RNC can so enthusiastically support a candidate who is just as corrupt, facile, and pandering as our current Dear Leader. I may finally have an answer, and the key involves the kind of corruption that Mitt has practiced for decades.
Like the Bene Gesserit of “Dune”, The Chicago political Machine has been manipulating circumstances and people to produce their own version of the Kwisatz Haderach. Barry Sotero is that man – although without the superhuman powers of Paul Atreides, for Mr. Sotero requires an army of individuals with criminal expertise to keep him in power.
Is the RNC so terribly afraid of Mr. Sotero that they have almost literally made a deal-with-the-devil to deny Barry a second term? Certainly we’ve seen how Mitt can easily game the system to produce precisely the results he desires.
Newt would run a clean campaign. Newt would restore honesty and decency to our White House. Newt would end up as beloved as Ronald Reagan. Newt IS what we need.
But Newt is not a crook, and the RNC obviously believes they need someone as crooked as Barry to retake control of our government. Should Mitt really become the nominee in August, it will be very interesting indeed to see which political machine can stuff more ballot boxes than the other.
